Tomb Of Annihilation (5th edition 2014 rules)
The Death Curse is spreading. Across Faerun, those once brought back from the brink of death are now withering away and those who die are unable to be revived. The cause? A foul necromantic artifact known as the Soulmonger.
After a month of hacking through the primordial jungles of Chult—surviving Terrorfolk, Batiri war-bands, and the undead—the party has uncovered the truth. In the lost city of Omu, they struck down the Yuan-ti traitor Ras Nsi, only to discover he was a mere pawn for a much greater evil: the archlich Acererak.
Now, the path is clear. The nine puzzle cubes are in hand, and the entrance to the Tomb of Annihilation stands open. Somewhere within its trapped corridors lies the Soulmonger. If it isn't destroyed, the curse will claim every soul in the Realms.

The mystical Dolmenwood can't be as they say, surely? You have heard many tales of this place, stretched out by drunken travellers around the many taverns littering the county. They speak of fairies, weird humanoids made from moss, mischievous cat demons - and of course, the hoards of treasure. The crowing jewel, apparently resides in the ruins of the Ice Prince's former castle. Only a few claim to even know of its existence, and none can say precisely what it is, perhaps a giant diamond, or ensorcelled ice to the same effect. Regardless, the adventuring should be good!
Dolmenwood is its own system based heavily on the Old School Essentials ruleset, which is itself based upon the original B/X D&D rules from the 80s. Here we have a bewitching hexcrawl adventure through the many biomes of the Dolmenwood, which takes inspiration from original British folklore. You will encounter strange places, tricksy fairies, abandoned shrines and castles and a rich, detailed world full of wonder. Play from new classes including the Breggle goatfolk, Elves, Grimalkin fairies who look very much like cats but find humans HILARIOUS, Mosslings and the bat-like Woodgrue.
Expect high adventure, the dice to land as they may, and death to be behind every tree. You will need your wits about you, some luck and a plan that fails instantly to find your fortune in the forest, but maybe the forest finds you, who can say....

It's 1983, it's Davao City (pronounced "Da Bow") in the Philippines. In this alternate timeline you're the cast of a TV series filming Tales of the Gold Monkey: 1938 pulp adventure on the south seas...The Marcos Military dictatorship gave assurances and wanted the show to be filmed there to stifle rumours of his failing rule. Communist insurgents, Islamic extremists, Pro democracy people power movements, and disgruntled caterers...producers who May or may not have been making a film in Rome recently...
You make an Actor and a character. Your actor plays your character...
This game uses my homebrew variation of the 2D20 system from Modiphius...the key things are to remember you become more powerful by helping other cast members and that inventive imagination beats system mastery every time.
